Hi, I’m Chloe, therapist, deep feeler, lover of the outdoors, and someone who believes you shouldn’t have to become less of yourself to actually enjoy your life.

I’ve always been fascinated by what’s underneath the surface, the things we don’t say, the parts of ourselves we keep tucked away in our deep waters.

I know what it’s like to be a deep thinker and a deep feeler. To live in a world that doesn’t always feel built for a sensitive nervous system. To be so attuned to the people around you and everything happening externally that it eventually becomes overwhelming, leaving you needing to tune it all out. To get caught in your own head, question yourself, and then become hard on yourself for not being able to figure it out.

I know how easy it is to become so focused on understanding yourself that you forget how to actually be yourself.

I’ve come to believe that healing isn’t about becoming someone who never overthinks, never gets overwhelmed, or never struggles.

Healing is about developing a relationship with yourself that feels safe enough to come home to. A relationship where you can trust that when you turn inward, you won’t be met by the familiar insults of your inner critic, but by something softer and more compassionate.

We often grow up learning, consciously or unconsciously, to adapt ourselves to the environments around us. Maybe you learned to be the high achiever, the responsible one, or the one who could always hold it together. Maybe you learned to withdraw when things felt like too much, stay quiet to avoid conflict, or constantly be thinking about what you need to do next.

What if therapy could be a space to understand those patterns without judging them and begin creating new ways of living that actually fit you?

Online IFS Therapy

Internal family Systems (IFS) Therapy helps us to get curious about the different parts of you that show up in your everyday life. We will work to map out and understand the parts that get loud like that high achieving, serious version, or maybe the part that withdrawals when it feels like too much, or the inner critic who is harder on yourself than anyone else.

With time that thought, emotion, or protective pattern that once felt all-consuming, becomes quieter and not so overwhelming. These are part of the human experience, not the entirety of you. Clients often describe feeling more confident, more accepting of themselves, and able to make choices from who their own self-trust rather than from fear, shame, or the need to keep everything under control.

We discover how stress shows up in the body too.

You may be highly self-aware, yet your body feels overwhelmed, confused, unpredictable, or fatigued. Your nervous system still reacts to disappointment as if it were danger.

Online Somatic Therapy

Somatic Experiencing Therapy is a body-based therapuetic modality that helps us to bring this self-awareness and slow down enough to notice what is happening in real time.

We might…

  • Use guided visualization techniques or imagery to connect to memories, moments, or parts of us that may be difficult to access through words.

  • Practicing responding to our triggers and emotions with curiosity rather than suppressing or criticising them.

  • Create space for emotions to be felt and processed rather than being analyzed or pushed away.

  • Notice the subtle sensations, tingles, temperature changes, or tension that arise when you feel criticized, disappointed, overwhelmed, or disconnected.

  • We’ll become aware of these unique sensations like signals from our body when stress is building.

  • Notice how past experiences may shape the way we cope, connect, and disconnect to our body.

When you've spent years adapting yourself to relationships, workplaces, or a world that doesn't always understand your sensitivity, it can begin to feel like you're living with a kind of imposter syndrome for the human experience.

Maybe you've spent so much time figuring out how to fit in, keep up, perform, or take care of everyone else that you've lost touch with what it feels like to simply be yourself.

Deep Waters is a space to begin coming back to that.

A space where you can exhale.

A space where you don't have to perform or have the right words.

A space where all of you gets to exist.

When I’m not in Therapist Mode…

You’ll probably find me outside somewhere, planning my next adventure, cruising in my vintage ‘89 van, or soaking up the little moments that make life good.

As a lover of the outdoors and a hobby enthusiast, I am typically rotating between my many fixations including surfing, sailing, snorkeling, rock climbing, yoga, or even just busting a move with some friends on the dance floor. I love trying new things, getting a little out of my comfort zone, and finding the kinds of experiences that make you forget to check your phone and remember that you’re actually living.

Movement is a big part of how I stay connected to myself, too. Whether it’s getting in the water, practicing yoga, shaking my stuff, or taking a slow walk around the neighborhood, I believe our bodies need opportunities to move, play, explore, and simply be.
